The Puzzle Unveiled: A Journey into The Gauntlet
On October 23, 2023, a puzzle emerged, a herald of the Retro13 puzzle hunt series. This marked a learning adventure for both myself, the puzzle creator, and the valiant community of hunters and seekers who embarked on this maiden voyage. The puzzle was a unique challenge, a mix of mystery and nostalgia, and it became the first step into the uncharted realm of Retro13.
As the inaugural puzzle for the Retro13 puzzle hunt series, I intentionally held back details, allowing the community to dive into the unknown. No one had ever encountered a puzzle crafted by me, and the excitement of the unexplored lay ahead.
Upon signing up for Retro13 and receiving The Gauntlet puzzle via email, hunters and seekers set forth on their journey. Despite a few email glitches and a mishap with an old image file lingering on the server, the stage was set for a puzzle-solving spectacle.
